SUBIOS Man & Woman Event.

SUBIOS 2006, Seychelles International Film & Image Festival, due to be held between the 6th and 12th of March, will provide for several exciting events among which is the SUBIOS Man & SUBIOUS Woman Competition.
Modeled on the famous International Iron Man Competition, this dual-category event will consist of four stages: swimming, cycling, running and canoeing.
The first leg, which will be a 1 km swim, will be held in the sea at Roche Caiman, behind the swimming pool, to be followed by cycling from Roche Caiman to Cascade via Plaisance and back to the Seychelles Yacht Club via the highway.

Fleuri & back to Seychelles Yacht Club.
The final canoeing stage will commence at
Seychelles
’ Yacht Club and head for a buoy inside
Victoria
harbour and back to the children’s playground where a large crowd is expected to enjoy the vibrant SUBIOUS atmosphere.
It is hoped that this celebration of the prowess of Seychellois sportsmen and women and which promises to test their skills to the limit across four very different disciplines, will provide the basis for further similar competitions in the future.
The deadline for registration in both the men’s and women’s categories is Wednesday March 8th 2006 at the Sail Training Scheme Headquarters.
There will be a briefing for all competitors on the same day at 16h30 at the National Swimming Pool.
